YouTube Timestamp Keeper helps users save, organize and replay specific moments in YouTube videos.

Information the extension uses

The extension reads the current YouTube video ID, video title, playback position and video link.

It also stores information created by the user, including:

• Saved timestamps
• Timestamp notes
• Collection names and memberships
• Custom save-offset settings

How the information is used

This information is used only to save timestamps, display saved videos, search saved moments, organize videos into collections and reopen videos at saved positions.

Data storage

All extension data is stored locally in the user's browser using Chrome's local storage.

The extension does not use a developer-operated server, user account system, analytics service or advertising service.

Data sharing

YouTube Timestamp Keeper does not sell, share or transfer user data to the developer or any third party.

Import and export

Users can export their saved information as a JSON backup file. Importing a backup reads the file selected by the user and restores supported information to the browser's local storage.

Users control where exported files are stored and whether they are shared.

Data removal

Users can delete saved timestamps and collections from the extension. All locally stored extension data can also be removed by uninstalling the extension or clearing its storage.

Exported backup files must be deleted separately by the user.

Limited use

Information handled by the extension is used only to provide its timestamp saving, organization, search, backup and playback features.

It is not used for advertising, user profiling, lending or credit decisions.
